Premium Aluminum Cantilever Umbrellas

The Atlantic Cantilever Patio Umbrella is one of Cape Umbrellas' flagship products. Aesthetically pleasing, well built, and long lasting, the Atlantic aluminum and stainless stell cantilever is a perfect choice for outdoor living and entertaining in any outdoor space.

Suitable for residential or commercial use, it can be wall or frame mounted. The cantilever hanging umbrella system makes it perfect for providing shade over a table or seating area. Made using premium components and designed in a way to make it easily and fully repairable. It is manufactured using marine-grade stainless steel and anodized aluminum for the frame, a solid die-cast aluminum hub and a well rounded 340 pound base.

Frame

The Atlantic cantilever umbrella is manufactured using marine grade stainless steel and 6063 grade aluminum. 6063 grade aluminum has high tensile properties and a high degree of resistance to corrosion. Used mainly in exterior applications. It is finished off with a 15 micron anodizing application.

We focus on providing the best quality products and that is why we have opted on using only marine grade stainless steel components. The Atlantic cantilever is finished off using stainless steel components to join the aluminum beams and canvas together. Leaving you with a high quality aluminum cantilver umbrella. 

No ropes, pulleys or cranks

Our umbrellas are engineered with a patended automatic lifting system. A simple pull will open or close the umbrella. Our unique opening mecanism doesn't require any pins or cranks to stay open.

Canvas

3 year antifade solution dyed acrylic and polyester material blended to give you a unique and unmatched quality canvas top. The canvas is coated with both a water repellent coating as well as an antifungal coating. This means in heavy rainfall, the material will not wither and lose its stability. Additionally, the colour will not dim or lighten from the sun.  No matter what the weather conditions are, the material of the umbrella will stand the test of time.

Base    

The cantilever base consists of a crossbase with four triagular concrete pavers.

The marine grade stainless steel crossbase is used to hold the four concrete pavers in place and to fasten the vertical beam of the frame to.  The crossbase weights approximately 15kg  and the four pavers around 35kg each. 

Design

With a thoughtful design featuring a vent at the top to create a vortex in case of sudden winds, which also allows the airflow to circulate more freely. The Atlantic includes double jointed seams, heavy-duty binding and its pockets are equipped with PVC inserts and double stitching. In addition, our umbrellas are fitted with sewn-in velcro straps, to ensure your umbrella can be neatly and safely secured when not in use. Lastly each cantilver can easily rotate 360 degrees. The canopy is fully detatachable which makes it easy to store.
