The St James patio umbrella is part of our Premium collection of outdoor patio umbrellas. Manufactured using a high degree of resistance to corrosion aluminium combined with stainless steel and nylon components the St James is sure to stand the test of time. All components are designed and manufactured to ensure The St James is easily and fully repairable.

What makes our umbrellas unique is our patented automatic lifting system. The Automatic lifting system features a unique patented automatic opening mechanism removing the need for cranks, pulleys and ropes. A simple pull opens the umbrella automatically.

St. James Aluminum Premium Patio Umbrella

Come rain or shine, the St. James Patio Umbrella has you covered (both literally and metaphorically). The St James is perfect for almost every setting, whether you need shade in the scorching sun whilst you are lounging by the pool, or enjoying the sun in your outside dining area. The St James frame is made completely of aluminum and perfectly partnered with nylon and stainless steel components. All compoments are wind tested to ensure that the St. James Patio Umbrella is the right choice for you and any environment.

Frame

Cape umbrellas use 6063 grade aluminum. 6063 Grade aluminum has reasonably high tensile properties and a high degree of resistance to corrosion. Used mainly in exterior applications. It is finished off with a 15 micron anodizing application.

The aluminum frame is made with a round centre pole, varying from 1.5 to 2 inches in diameter.

No ropes, pulleys or cranks

Our umbrellas are engineered with a patended automatic lifting system. A simple pull will open the umbrella. Closing is also effortless.

Canvas

Solution dyed acrylic and polyester material blended to give you a unique and unmatched quality canvas top. No matter what the weather conditions are, the material of the umbrella will stand the test of time.

The St. James collection is available in several fabric colours and patterns. Each unique for your taste and style and suitable for your outdoor living space. The wide range of colours we have lets you have the freedom to express yourself and complement your pool, garden or outdoor living area and features.

The canvas is coated with both a water repellent coating as well as an antifungal coating. This means in heavy rainfall, the material will not wither and lose its stability. Additionally, the colour will not dim or lighten from the sun. All canvas tops come with a 3 year anti fade warranty.

Design

With a thoughtful design featuring a vent at the top to create a vortex in case of sudden winds, which also allows the airflow to circulate more freely. The St James includes double jointed seams, heavy-duty binding and its pockets are equipped with PVC inserts and double stitching. In addition, our umbrellas are fitted with sewn-in velcro straps, to ensure your umbrella can be neatly and safely secured when not in use.
