The Westcoast is made using high-grade components and is designed in a way to make it fully repairable. It has a marine-grade stainless steel, FSC certified hardwood eucalyptus and anodized aluminum frame, a solid die-cast aluminum hub and a well rounded 340 pound base.
Frame
The Westcoast cantilever umbrella is manufactured using marine grade stainless steel and 6063 grade aluminum. 6063 grade aluminum has high tensile properties and a high degree of resistance to corrosion. Used mainly in exterior applications. It is finished off with a 15 micron anodizing application.

The eucalyptus hardwood used on the Westcoast is all sourced directly from a FSC certified plantation, kiln-dried. All our hardwood is processed and manufactured at our cutting-edge woodwork facility. Using our state of the art woodwork machinery we have the ability to manage and control the quality of all our hardwood products. The FSC cerification of the wood ensures that the forest is managed carefully with trees, animals, and local community benefit at heart.
No ropes, pulleys or cranks
Our umbrellas are engineered with a patended automatic lifting system. A simple pull will open the umbrella. Closing is also effortless.
Canvas
3 year antifade solution dyed acrylic and polyester material blended to give you a unique and unmatched quality canvas top. Coated with an antifungal layer. No matter what the weather conditions are, the canvas material of the umbrella will stand the test of time. Given the unique combination of materials the Westcoast will complement any outdoor living space, pool setting or garden environment.

The canvas is coated with both a water repellent coating as well as an antifungal coating. This means in heavy rainfall, the material will not wither and lose its stability. Additionally, the colour will not fade from the sun.
Base
The cantilever base consists of a crossbase as well as four concrete pavers.
The marine grade stainless steel crossbase is used to hold the four concrete pavers in place and to fasten the vertical beam of the frame to. The crossbase weights approximately 33 pounds.
Each Speciality Cantilever comes with four concrete pavers, each in a triangular shape, Each paver weighs approximately 77 pounds.
